Mission Statement
The mission of the P.L.A.Y. Program, led by School Resource Officers, is to positively impact the lives of young people through structured educational experiences, character development, and skill-building opportunities. The program is dedicated to fostering confidence, responsibility, leadership, and positive decision-making while strengthening relationships between youth and School Resource Officers in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to create a positive and lasting impact on youth by cultivating confident, respectful, and responsible individuals who are equipped with essential life skills and guided toward academic success, personal growth, and community engagement. Through meaningful mentorship and education led by School Resource Officers, the program seeks to strengthen trust, promote leadership, and inspire youth to become positive contributors to their schools and communities.
Program Overview
The P.L.A.Y. Program is a structured, educational summer camp led by School Resource Officers and designed to support the personal, social, and academic development of youth. Through a combination of hands-on learning, team-building activities, leadership development, and life-skills instruction, the program promotes character, confidence, responsibility, and positive decision-making. Participants engage in a safe and supportive environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and community awareness while fostering positive relationships between youth and School Resource Officers. The program aims to equip participants with skills and values that contribute to long-term success in school and in life.
