This 8-hour Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course provides students with the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to recognize, treat, and manage life-threatening injuries in high-threat and austere environments. The course emphasizes evidence-based TCCC guidelines and focuses on care under fire, tactical field care, and tactical evacuation care.
Students will receive instruction and practical application in hemorrhage control, airway management, respiratory trauma, shock prevention, casualty movement, and medical decision-making under stress. Scenario-based training reinforces rapid assessment, prioritization, and teamwork in realistic operational conditions.
At the start of the course, each student will be issued an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK). Instruction will include familiarization with all IFAK components and their proper employment. Throughout the course, students will utilize their issued IFAKs during hands-on drills and scenarios to ensure proficiency and confidence in real-world application.
